We are the Southend Ju Jitsu Club (SOS JUJITSU).
We welcome new visitors to both our web site or our club. We are a friendly club welcoming all who wish to train.

The Club was founded by Sensei Alan Stone and is now run by Sensei Gino Muscat 2nd Dan and Sensei Dave Patterson 1st Dan.
We teach the Jikishin jujitsu sylabus but also practice off sylybus techniques i.e stand up and ground fighting. We are not an MMA club but we do try to incorporate practical self deffence techniques
We both have enhanced CRB checks and are both qualified first Aiders.

We are are also very lucky to have the experience of Sensei John Middleton (4th Dan) and Sensei Kevin Hutchin's (2nd Dan)
Jujitsu is a great art for women to partcipate in as it uses the attackers strength against them. We not only cater for adults but also have a great childrens session.
We are members of the Jikshin Ju Jitsu association under the patronage of Sensei Brian Herbert.

Latest News - (7/11/09):
Congratulations to all our Juniors and Seniors that took part in the Jikishin National Competitions, held once again at Southend Leisure & Tennis. This year saw a tremendous list of medals won across all categories, from Sparring, Groundfighting, Randon Attacks and Weapons Kata.
Well done to Paul, Roy, Daren and Terry, plus Noah, Harry, Roman, Michael and Adrian and not to forget Sensei Gino for his Veterans Groundfighting medal position. As always all entrants worked really hard and deserved their win, putting in a great deal of effort to prepare for the event and showed great focus when competing.
